Born and raised in the small rural town of Lugoff, South Carolina (we had just four traffic lights — seriously), I spent 25 years in the South before relocating to Albany, New York in February 2020. A world away from where I started, Albany quickly became home after first visiting in 2017 to meet my partner. That trip marked the beginning of a whole new chapter.

Growing up in the early 2000s, I never wanted to fit into the “cool crowd.” I’ve always walked my own path — stretching my lobes, dyeing my hair (yes, bleach was definitely involved), piercing myself, and embracing the alternative scene. I’ve always found joy in making others feel good about themselves — whether through drawing, cooking, paying attention to the little things, or simply showing up for them. That natural care evolved into a passion for body piercing.

The same empowerment I once sought from my own piercer is what I now get to provide to others: a chance to feel seen, confident, and beautiful.

In 2023, I found my people at Cold River Body Arts — a space full of knowledge, creativity, and genuine community. After years of self-study, reading classics like Running the Gauntlet by Jim Ward and diving into the history of body modification across cultures (from Romans to Mayans to Egyptians), I began my formal apprenticeship in May 2024. It instantly felt like home.

Body piercing isn’t just a job for me — it’s a safe, affirming art form. I’m honored to offer a welcoming space for anyone stepping into the next version of themselves.
